Carlos Arellano

Carlos Arellano has been awarded commissions, grants, and prizes from a number of institutions, including the National Fund for Culture and Arts of Mexico and the National Institute of the Arts of Mexico. He has performed his music with important orchestras, ensembles, and soloists such as the Albany Symphony, CEPROMUSIC ensemble, and Splinter Reeds. Carlos obtained his Master’s in Composition, graduating with Honors, from the University of New Mexico. He holds two Bachelor’s degrees, one in composition and another in guitar performance from the National Conservatory of Music in Mexico City.
